When the news spread that Canada’s beloved icon Gord Downie had an incurable brain tumor, our country went into shock, and devoted fans began scrambling to get tickets to see the band one last time.
This is a story of two brothers who did everything they could to say one last goodbye.
Gord Downie isn’t the only iconic Canadian to have brain cancer, Paul Henderson who also holds a precious moment in Candian history is also suffering from a brain tumor. Paul continues to fight his battle, as does Gord.
