Cab drivers in Toronto are planning to go ahead with a protest on Wednesday morning outside the East York Civic Centre.
The protest is expected to start at 7 a.m.
About 800 cabbies are meeting at a banquet Hall at Woodbine and Highway 27 where they will board buses to make their way to the Municipal Licensing and Standards office on Coxwell Avenue.
It comes a day after the city issued a transportation license to Uber to operate in the city.
Taxi drivers are promising the protest will be peaceful and they will not disrupt traffic, but there may be some delays trying to access the civic centre.
