A memorial has been unveiled for the victims of the Neville-Lake family in King City.
Organizers held the ceremony on Sunday at Wellesley Park and the parents, Jennifer and Ed Neville-Lake were not in attendance for the ceremony. However, they did issue a written statement.
“From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank you for the love and support you have shown us and our family.”
It was back in the fall of 2015 when the three children and their grandfather were killed in a horrific crash in Kleingburg after their mini-van had been struck by another vehicle that was driven by a drunk driver.
Marco Muzzo was the 29-year-old man who pleaded guilty to four counts of impaired driving causing death and two counts of impaired driving causing bodily harm.
A judge sentenced him to 10 years in prison back on March 29th.
The victims were nine-year-old Daniel Neville-Lake, his brother five-year-old Harrison, their two-year-old sister Milly and their grandfather Gary.
The accident took place at Kirby Road and Kipling Avenue on September 27th, 2015.
