It’s something that never should have happened in the first place, but there is a happy ending to a case Peel police notified us of Tuesday.
An accessibility ramp was stolen from the front step of a home in the Mavis Road and Eglinton Avenue area, sometime over the weekend.
A male living in the home is wheelchair bound, making it extremely difficult to get in and out.
On Wednesday, police tweeted the ramp had been recovered and that it was returned to the family.
No other details have been released.
It’s not clear if they are seeking suspects at this time or if a charge will be laid.
#PRP have recovered the stolen ramp which has been returned to the Mississauga Family. Thank you to the community for all your assistance.
