Another series of search warrants have been issued at marijuana dispensaries illegally operating in Toronto, resulting in more charges being laid.
On Monday, three locations were raided.
At the first location, Section 56, at 912 Danforth Avenue, it’s alleged police seized various edible marijuana products, along with dry cannabis, cannabis oil and resin, and just over $1500.
Police also charged two men, 63 year old Richard Bradley of Toronto, and 36 year old William Levy of no fixed address with three counts each of possession of a schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime.
Arrests were also made at S.W.E.D on Pape Avenue, after police allegedly seized dry marijuana and nearly $8000 in cash.
Keng Her, 26, and Ryan Flood, 22, both of Toronto have each been charged with two counts each of possession of a schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime.
Police also raided a second S.W.E.D. location, on Danforth Avenue and arrested two men.
Charges for Ross Mackenzie, 29 and Daniel Her, 21, both of Toronto, include possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime.
It’s alleged 13.26 lbs of marijuana was seized at this address, along with $7000 in cash.
The total street value of items seized amounts to nearly $1,000,000.
All six men are to make court appearances next month.
