A brand new service announcement released today that could eliminate the QEW – for commuters travelling between Niagara and Toronto. Greater Toronto Airways will be offering 12 minutes flights between Niagara and Toronto starting September 15.
Commuters sometimes spend 2-4 hours sitting in traffic between Niagara and Toronto. Greater Toronto Airways will connect smaller cities to help decrease travel times for busy commuters based on overwhelming results of surveys conducted in Niagara Falls. Chris Nowrouzi, CEO of Greater Toronto Airways hopes to help eliminate the travel times for those willing to pay the cost. One way trips will cost $85 while return trips will start at $159.
The private airline already offers sightseeing tours around Toronto and wine country.
Is the short travel time worth the transportation costs?
Chris Nowrouzi, CEO of Greater Toronto Airways joins Jeff McArthur on the show to discuss the perks the new flights can offer commuters.
