From Health Canada:
During the insertion of a non-grounded plug, some outlets may short circuit resulting in a spark, posing a potential shock or fire hazard to consumers.
PC popcorn makers which have a 3-pronged plug are not affected.
If you do have one of nearly thousand units sold, you’re advised to take it to any Loblaw banner store for a full refund, even if you don’t have the original receipt.
