If you plan on being in the city for the first weekend of August, you may have to adjust your travel route.
There are a few road closures scheduled.
Bloor Street has been closed between Dovercourt Avenue and Rusholme Road to repair a broken watermain. It’s not clear yet when that area will reopen.

The Taste of the Danforth will see Danforth Avenue closed off between Broadview and Jones Avenues from 11:00 a.m. Friday to 1:00 p.m. Monday.
It’s anticipated over one million people will head to the area at some point over the next few days.
The intersection of Jarvis and Gerrard will be closed to traffic through the weekend for watermain replacement, road resurfacing and bike lane and sidewalk upgrades.
The closure will be in effect from 7:00 p.m. Friday to 7:00 a.m. Monday.
TTC crews will be working on replacing and repairing the subway tracks on Line 1 Yonge-University between St. George and Union Stations, so that portion of the subway will be closed all day Saturday.
Crews will also be doing some maintenance work on the signal system in the area. Shuttle buses will be running during that time with regular service resuming Sunday morning.
