A fiery 3 vehicle collision has forced the partial closure of the QEW in both directions near Stoneycreek.
The collision involving two transport trucks and a pickup truck happened in the Toronto bound lanes of the highway near Fruitland Road shortly after 4 p.m.
According to the OPP, one of the transport trucks developed a problem with a tyre, causing it to veer into the path of the second truck before that truck crashed into the pick up truck.
The crash resulted in a fire that engulfed all three vehicles.
The fire has since been knocked down and all three drivers escaped injury.
The OPP say major delays can be expected on the Toronto bound side of the highway as the roadway may need to be resurfaced.
All lanes were closed for a time, however one Toronto bound lane has reopened, while two lanes of the Fort Erie bound side of the highway have reopened to traffic.
