A stabbing attack has taken place in London, England which has left one woman dead and up to five other people injured, London police said.
The incident occurred around 10 p.m. at Russell Square where a man was seen using a knife to injure people.
Police arrived on the scene and used a taser to subdue the man who is being held in custody.

A woman was treated at the scene and pronounced dead a short time after the man was arrested.
She’s been identified as a 60 year old American.
The suspect has been identified as a 19 year old Norwegian of Somali origin.
Police officials say there is no evidence the suspect had been radicalized and say mental health is being investigated as a possible motivating factor.
The five injured people are American, British, Israeli, and Australian. None have life-threatening injuries. Two remain in hospital.
