The 21-year-old man who was involved in a fatal shooting in Scarborough late Thursday night is now believed to have been ambushed before the attack occurred.
Toronto Police say it appears the people who killed him were waiting for him in Midland Park.
It happened at 10: 15 p.m. when a local resident discovered the victim wounded on the sidewalk on Rushley Drive near Lawrence Avenue East and Brimley Road.
Toronto Medics say that he was found to be conscious and breathing when they arrived at the scene, but he later succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
Investigators say the victim has now been identified as Kevaughn Morgan and that they are now searching for several suspects.
