Toronto Police are reporting that a 61-year-old has died and that a 64-year-old man is listed in serious condition after they were both hit by a vehicle in Scarborough.
It was around 6:30 p.m. Friday when the pair of pedestrians were struck by an SUV that collided with a TTC bus while making a left-hand turn onto Saunders Road from Kingston Road.
The 61-year-old man died from serious injuries in hospital and the 64-year-old man is now in stable, but serious condition with arm and leg injuries.
According to Toronto Traffic Services, the impact of the collision between the bus and SUV was a chain reaction that led to the two men being struck by the vehicle.
