Toronto Police are warning the general public to be on alert for a man who is wanted for attempted murder.
Investigators say that on Sunday, July 24th around 4:45 p.m., a 29-year-old man was confronted as he was leaving his residence in the Danforth Avenue and Main Street area where he was shot several times.
The condition of the victim is not known at this time. However, the man was known to the suspect and he has been identified as 66-year-old, Astrit Shkurta, who is now wanted for attempted murder.
Police say Shkurta is described as a white man with curly hair who has a medium build with two gold teeth. He was also wearing a red or orange t-shirt with dark pants at the time of the incident.
