It has been several weeks since a deadly blast rocked a Mississauga neighborhood.
The cause of the blast on Hickory Drive remains under investigation by both officials with the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office and Peel Region Police. “We don’t have anything official yet.” said Mississauga Mayor Bonnie Crombie.
Crombie told AM640’s John Oakley Show there are still fifty displaced residents. “The focus now is just on those impacted and providing any kind of services that they need.”
A total of seven families have been placed in long-term accommodation.
Crombie says Service Ontario has been providing rapid access to documents for affected residents wanting to travel.
The home explosion took place Tuesday, June 28th and claimed the lives of owners, Robert Nadler and Diane Page, both 55-years of age.
