The American Academy of Pediatrics has put out a policy statement about video games. Their study showed that if you expose children to violence in their media diet, it can make them more aggressive and fearful. They therefore have put out recommendations, including one to parents to be mindful of their media consumption, keeping minors away from mature video games. Full article here.
