Melania Trump, wife of Donald Trump, gave a speech at the RNC Convention in Cleveland. But what came out of it were accusations that she plagiarized Michelle Obama, due to some striking similarities to the 2008 DNC address by the current president’s wife. It is quite clear she stole two paragraphs.
Have a listen:
Melania Trump showed the gentler side of her husband, explaining “he is tough when he has to be, but he is also kind and fair and caring. This kindness is not always noted, but it is there for all to see. That is one reason I fell in love with him to begin with”. She also ensured, “If you want someone to fight for you and your country, I can assure you, he is the guy”.
Will this make a difference, or will it matter at all, to Donald Trump’s campaign? How did her speechwriters let this happen?
