There is concern in Cleveland for Monday’s Republic National Convention following the deadly cop shootings that have taken place in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
The event will be taking place at Quicken Loans Arena and Cleveland’s police chief Calvin Williams has indicated that the law enforcement will be looking into heightened security measures across the city over the course of the 4-day event.
According to the chief, the force has already gone through drills of possible scenarios that could occur in regards to this event.
In the wake of tensions across the United States the concern is starting to shift its focus to some of the violent protests that have occurred during these conventions in the recent past.
Also, there are others who are worried with Donald Trump’s supporters and protesters connected to the demonstrations expected at the RNC.
