Police say they’ve arrested a man in connection with a sexual assault at a home in the Scarlett Road and Dundas Street West area.
It’s alleged that in 2006, a woman hired Costa Railings to build a wrought iron fence at her home.
Ten years later, this same woman contacted the company to repair damage to the fence.
Following the completion of work, and approximately one month later, the owner showed up on Saturday without notice to collect payment for the repair.
The woman paid the bill and the owner asked if she would be interested in selling her home and asked to see inside.
The woman allowed the man inside and while showing him around, she claims he sexually assaulted her.
She was able to make it to the front door where she ordered him to leave.
Albert Costa, 49, of Toronto was arrested. He has been charged with sexual assault.
Police are concerned there may be more victims.
