Toronto’s hot real estate market is showing no signs of cooling.
The Toronto Real Estate Board says there were 12, 794 residential transactions in June- that’s up 7.5% from the same time last year.
The group says the number of new listings fell 3.8 per cent to 16, 980 from 17,659 in June of 2015.
The average sale price of a home in the GTA was $746, 546 last month, up from $639, 309 in June of last year. That’s an increase of 16 per cent from last year.
The average price of a detached house in the city of Toronto was nearly $1.26 million-a jump of 19.6% from a year ago but down a bit from the average price in May of $1.28 million.
