A cyclist has died after a hit and run in the Dupont and Christie Streets area.
Police say the 71 year old man suffered life-threatening injuries at around 1:15 p.m. Tuesday afternoon and was rushed to hospital in critical condition.
He was pronounced dead from his injuries about an hour later.
Investigators say the victim was cut off by a vehicle, and then slammed into the back of a parked car.
Police had initially said that a vehicle failed to remain at the scene, however it is no longer believed to be the case.
Roads in the area had been closed for a number of hours for the investigation but all have now reopened to traffic.
