Anywhere there’s harm to animals, there’s PETA. Sometimes it’s easy to agree with them, while other times they seem to take it way too far. This most recent case is the announced closure of the Bownmanville Zoo. Angus Carroll the zoo’s director of communications has blamed the closure on PETA, after visitor numbers drastically fell following an animal cruelty case against former Michael Hackenberger.
Is PETA to blame? Or did this zoo get what it deserved?
