Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne has put together a working group to figure out how to limit the legal sale of marijuana to LCBO locations across the province.
“We have the LCBO in place. I think that we’ve demonstrated that that kind of regulation is efficient and is effective,” Wynne told reporters Tuesday at Queen’s Park.
Wynne says that Ontario is in a grey area at this moment in time, and that the federal government has yet to provide any details on how a legal approach would work in the province.
As the Toronto Star notes here, representatives from the finance and health ministries have been organized into a task force to examine the issue and develop a response.
