The jury in the Tim Bosma Murder trial have now retired to consider the fate of two men accused in his death.
Bosma went missing after taking two strangers for a test drive in his truck on May 6th, 2013, his body was found days later in an animal incinerator.
Both Dellen Millard and Mark Smich pleaded not guilty to a charge of first degree murder.
The crown alleges that the pair had planned to steal a truck and kill the owner, while Smich, the only one of the two to testify, said that it was his co accused who had carried out the murder.
Millard’s lawyers meanwhile, claimed that Smich accidentally shot Bosma as he tried to steal the Hamilton man’s truck.
The trial lasted four months.
