With E3 right around the corner, one of the bigger concerns of gamers comes down to whether or not they should be looking to upgrade their next gen systems. The rumors floating around are talking about how Microsoft will possibly be bringing out two new versions of their Xbox One hardware, the slim version and the upgraded version of the current model, codename “Scorpio”. VGS was fortunate enough to talk to Shinobi602 about the potential announcements at E3 2016,

Interview with Shinobi602
“There’s been lots of speculation online. Obviously people [who] don’t know, Scorpio is this alleged new system that their making that’s a big upgrade to their current model Xbox One supposedly coming next year; also rumors that their making a slim model, I would say that it’s probably a safe bet that we will see one of the two.”
Microsoft has not confirmed the existence of the new consoles, but sources all over the gaming world have said otherwise. The supposed 2017 Xbox, codename “Scorpio”, will potentially have a more powerful GPU. The intention is to have support for the Oculus Rift and be able to push out 4k. While the slim version, many believe will include a 2TB hard drive, double the capacity of the largest current model; along with the system being smaller in size and at a cheaper price point.
Hopefully during Microsoft’s E3 conference, more will be confirmed.
