A 31 year old man is facing a number of weapons charges after allegations that he fired a number of shots from the roof of a building in Oakwood Village.
Police say there were called to the scene in the Oakwood Avenue and Vaughan Road area at around 9.45.p.m on Thursday, May 26th.
No one was injured as a result of the shooting and the suspect fled the scene.
An investigation was launched and Oketo Hazelwood was identified as the man responsible for the shooting.
He was arrested on June 4th after attending a Toronto hospital for the treatment of a stab wound.
Hazelwood has now been charged with discharging a firearm, the use of a firearm during the commission of an indictable offence and possession of a weapon.
He is scheduled to appear in court on July 15th.
