Saturday is the official opening of Beach Season in Toronto.
You can expect to see people taking in a lot of summer weather activities like Cycling, Swimming and Sun Bathing near the waterfront.
Nine of eleven city beaches are set to open, which means lifeguards will be on duty between 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. everyday.
Beaches officially opening this weekend are:
Hanlan’s Point Beach
Gibraltar Point Beach
Centre Island Beach
Ward’s Island Beach
Kew Balmy Beach
Bluffer’s Beach Park
Marie Curtis Beach and Rouge Beach will open on June 18th.
