An arrest has been made in a theft investigation which targeted seniors, and police believe there could be some more victims.
Officers were called out to an apartment complex on Gordonridge Place earlier this month, in the Danforth and Midland Avenues area.
It’s alleged a woman and her accomplice would go to the homes of seniors with dementia and other medical conditions, posing as police officers and once inside, would help themselves to valuables, including cash.
Angelina Probert has since been arrested. Charges for the 34 year old Toronto woman include break and enter, theft, forcible entry and impersonating a peace officer.
Colin Copestock, also of Toronto, was arrested at an earlier date in connection with this investigation.
