A Toronto man has been extradited from the U.K to face charges in relation to a home invasion in Mississauga more than three years ago, which left one man dead.
22 year old Ibrahim Abukar suffered fatal gunshot wounds during an altercation that followed a home invasion on Corkstone Glade in Mississauga on December 7th, 2012.
Police say three men, including had entered the home, two of them armed and were confronted by the home owner once inside.
36 year old Haldane Smithen-Davis was arrested in the U.K on September 17th for the offence of break and enter with intent to commit robbery with a firearm.
He was extradited back to Canada on Friday and is now being held for a bail hearing.
The other suspect handed himself into police in January of this year.
42 year old Jason Hamilton of Mississauga is facing a charge of manslaughter in relation to the death of Abukar.
He remains out on bail and is awaiting trial .
