One person is dead and three others injured after a multi vehicle collision in Etobicoke on Tuesday afternoon.
The collision involving a dump truck and two other vehicles happened in the area of Humber College Boulevard and Highway 27 at about 2 p.m.
One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene while the three others were transported to hospital for the treatment of injuries that have been described as non life threatening.
The age and gender of those involved has not yet been released.
Highway 27 was closed in both directions between Humber College Boulevard and Queens Plate Drive for a number of hours to facilitate cleanup and a police investigation.
It fully reopened to traffic shortly after 9.p.m.
