The Toronto Raptors have made history as they are on their way to the NBA Eastern Conference Finals for the first time in franchise history after defeating the Miami Heat 116-89.
It was an exciting seventh and deciding game that was played in front of a sellout crowd at the Air Canada Centre and a large crowd packed inside of Jurassic Park, as the Raptors scored their most points ever in a playoff game.
Kyle Lowry put forth another amazing effort leading his team with 35 points and DeMar DeRozan scored 28 points.
Bismack Biyombo was huge for the Raptors with 17 points and 15 rebounds. He was a key part of Toronto’s success in this round stepping up in place of injured centre Jonas Valanciunas.
Future hall-of-famer Dwayne Wade managed to score 16 and Goran Dragic also had 16 points, but the Heat came up short losing the series 4-3.
The Raptors will now play the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 1 on Tuesday at 8:30 p.m.
