Kyle Lowry scored 36 points and DeMar DeRozan had 23 points, but the Toronto Raptors were not able to pull out a victory in Game 6 after losing 103-91 to the Heat in Miami on Friday.
Gorgan Dragic was the key for Miami as he score 30 points and Dwayne Wade was also strong as usual with 22 points, as the Heat managed to force a game seven at the Air Canada Centre on Sunday.
This is now the second time in the Raptors history where they will play a seventh and deciding game in the second round of the NBA playoffs.
The winner of game seven in Toronto on Sunday will go on to face the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals on Tuesday.
The last time the Raptors were in this position was when they faced the Philadelphia 76ers in the East semi-final in 2001. Vince Carter took the final shot with two seconds left, but failed to put it down and Allen Iverson and the Sixers won 88-87.
