If a vote were to be held in Ontario today, it doesn’t appear the Conservatives would fare well.
A Forum Research Poll finds 39% would throw their support behind the Tories, while 34% would support the Liberals.
In the last poll, the PCs had a 10 point lead over the Liberals.
When you look at the party leaders specifically, Premier Kathleen Wynne has the approval of 20% of voters, PC Patrick Brown has 27% and NDP’s Andrea Horvath with 32%.
Residents were also asked “Who would you prefer as Premier?”
Patrick Brown came out on top with 24%; Kathleen Wynne and Andrea Horvath tied at 15%.
“Premier Wynne and Patrick Brown continue to under perform their parties in terms of voter approval, while Ms Horwath outperforms the NDP. Even so, Horwath’s usually sterling approval ratings have been starting to slip lately.” – Forum Research President, Dr. Lorne Bozinoff.
