A stellar performance by NBA all-star DeMar DeRozan has resulted in a crucial come from behind victory for the Toronto Raptors in Game 5 of their first round playoff series against the Indiana Pacers.
ReRozan poured in 34 points in the 102-99 win at the Air Canada Centre, with Kyle Lowry adding 14 points and Bismack Biyombo scoring 11.
The Raptors trailed the Indiana side through three quarters and were down 17 points at one stage.
However despite being down 90-77 heading into the fourth, the Raptors fought back to even it up at 92-92 with just moments to go.
The nail biting struggle continued but a final pair of DeRozan’s free throws sealed victory after a Solomon Hill three-pointer was ruled to come after the final buzzer.
The win gives the Raptors a 3-2 lead in their best of seven series.
Game 6 goes Friday in Indiana.
