Peel police say a male student had been taken into custody and charged with firearms related offences, following a lockdown at Father Michael Goetz Secondary School in Mississauga.
Officers were called out to the high school on Monday morning after getting reports of a student armed with a possible weapon.

Two other schools in the area, St. Phillip and Bishop Scalabrini were placed in a hold and secure as a precaution but those have since been lifted.
UPDATE: All students are safe. Police are onsite & following up with their investigation. Goetz in Hold & Secure while they clear the scene.

Peel police say no one was injured.
