The hunt is on a for a suspect after banks were recently robbed in Toronto and York Region.
Back on Friday January 15th, a man wearing sunglasses, scarf, hat and hood, walked into a bank in The West Mall and Bloor Street West area.
He handed the teller a note, indicating he was armed, and made a demand for money. He was given some cash and he took off.
About a month later, a man with the same type of disguise walked into a bank in the Bloor Street West and Windermere Avenue area; there were also a pair of similar robberies in York Region.
The suspect has been described as a white male in his 30s, 5’5″ – 5’8″, with a thin build and a slight mustache.
