A third man has now been charged in connection with the death of a 25 year old man outside a midtown restaurant late last year.
Zaher Noureddine suffered serious injuries following an assault involving three men shortly after midnight on December 30th, on Yonge Street, just south of Eglinton Avenue
Noureddine later died from the injuries he suffered, with police determining that he was the victim of a violent street robbery rather than an assault.
An appeal for information was launched and last week we learned that two arrests had been made in connection with the investigation.
29 year old William Lordhu Cummins and 26 year old and Patrick Smith, both of Toronto were charged with second-degree murder and robbery.
Toronto police also confirmed at the time that a third person was in custody but would not be named until charges were laid against him.
That person has now been named as 31 year old Matthew Moreira, also of Toronto.
He too is facing charges of second degree murder and robbery.
