An arrest has been made in a sexual assault investigation, but police believe there are some more victims out there.
Detective Sergeant Joanne Rudnick from the sex crime unit provided an update today announcing the arrest of a 25 year old Toronto man.
Earlier this month, a woman was sexually assaulted, at gunpoint, in an apartment building stairwell in the Parliament and Howard Streets area.
A few days later, police released a surveillance video of the suspect.
The next day, a man matching the suspect description was seen loitering in a building nearby.
Police say on Tuesday April 19 police spotted a man matching the suspect description in the Bloor and Parliament area.
Police approached the man and arrested him.
Kyle Michael Junior Young is now facing multiple charges including sexual assault with a firearm, uttering death threats and other weapons related charges.
He was set to appear in court this morning.
