A 22-year-old from Brampton man is facing multiple charges including criminal negligence causing death after three were killed in a North York crash over the weekend.
Toronto police say Prithvi Randhawa appeared in court today, facing three counts of criminal negligence causing death, one count of criminal negligence causing bodily harm, three counts of dangerous operation causing death, and one count of dangerous operation causing bodily harm.
Witnesses on the scene say an Acura was driving several times the speed limit when it collided with a Mercedes then hit a fenced area on Jane eventually flipping over.
Four individuals inside the vehicle were flung from the wreckage. The victims were a 19 year old woman and two males aged 21 and 23, pronounced dead on scene.
