A 19 year old man has been arrested for a series of bank robberies in the GTA.
Ten banks were held up between January 12 and March 19th including four along St. Clair Avenue West.
In each robbery, the suspect posed as a customer until reaching the teller, presented a note indicating he was armed, then made a demand for cash.
Police made an appeal for a suspect back in March at a news conference where they released security camera video and an image of the suspect.
Gianluca Catalano, of Toronto was arrested on Friday.
He’s been charged with 10 counts of robbery, 10 counts of disguise with intent, forcible confinement and assault with a weapon.
