Police investigating a hit and run incident in the city on Tuesday afternoon say the driver of the suspect vehicle has now turned himself in.
Police responded to the call just before 3.p.m. in the Eglinton West and Weston Road area.
A male pedestrian in his 20’s had been struck by a black pick up truck which had then left the scene.
The victim has been taken to hospital where his injuries have been described as serious but non life threatening.
Police confirmed in a tweet that the driver had returned to the scene and was speaking to officers.
It’s not yet known if charges will be laid.
