Starting pitcher R.A. Dickey suffered his first loss giving up seven runs on eight hits, but he still managed to strikeout nine.
A total of 47,138 fans were in attendance for the game.
The Jays will look to bounce back in the series finale with the Red Sox on Sunday afternoon at 1:07 p.m. Marco Estrada is expected to make his first start for Toronto.
