At least four schools with the Peel District School Board have decided to cancel all student trips to Europe in response to recent terror attacks.
The trips affected are those running from now to May 6. Full refunds will be issued to parents and students.
York Region District School Board has hinted that their student trips to Italy, Ireland, Austria, Paris, Scotland and England may be nixed as well.
This is all in response to attacks in Brussels and Paris.
Should teachers, board officials and parents let fear influence their decision? What are they more afraid of: a terrorist attack or a lawsuit?
