Some people aren’t impressed by the smiling selfies Doug Ford has posed for at Rob Ford’s public visitation. Do you think it’s appropriate?
Here are some of your responses:
Ron: He’s just being a nice guy…no big deal
Mike: Yet they all fawn all over trudeau when he does the same thing. Hypocrites.
Carol: If Doug was ok with it not an issue
Craig: Some of us prefer to celebrate the life that was lived.
Michelle: People are permitted to grieve in their own way. A smile doesn’t mean he isn’t grieving the loss of his brother.
Erin: I think it was tasteless that people would ask. Doug is programmed to smile for the camera.
William: Well what’s he supposed to do? Frown and be sombre the whole time? Then he’ll be criticized for not smiling.
Bill: He’s thanking people for their support. ….who cares
Blair: I’m sure Doug would rather be somewhere else instead of at City Hall with his brother’s casket.
He’s there so the people can pay their respects for his brother. He’s there for the people and if they want to take a selfie he’s probably not going to make a big deal about it.
