This week on VGS….
We spend a majority of the show discussing the news from Xbox this week. The new UWP system would look to integrate a cross platform app system on all Microsoft platforms. Do you think this is a good idea? Or is it a STEAM knock off?
ANDY CONVINCES DAVE: Superhot, it’s an innovate shooter (the game told me to say that) it only takes a few hours to complete and it will eternally change your perspective on what FPS’s can offer.

FEATURE INTERVIEW: Ever wanted to be a voice actor in videogames? The voice of Adam Jensen from Deus Ex joins the program, Elias Toufexis explains EXACTLY what it’s like to work in the industry.
“Deus Ex is like one of those choose-your-own-adventure books, with so many different dialogue options, the amount of player choices means that he is very much like a vessel. For example, in the last Deus Ex game, your friend’s mother asks how she died. You have the choice of giving a graphic description of exactly how she died, and I still have to justify how I would do this as an actor, although it doesn’t make sense how he would do this as a character.”
“Now, the boss battles aren’t even really boss battles. You can go through the whole game killing everybody, or killing nobody at all. The ending, which I won’t spoil, is a lot different from the last one. The choices you are offered are game-changers. It’s not just a simple button press. It’s not as much about how you act as the character.
In the last game, which had about six or seven different endings, in this game, depending on how you play, the story is affected, not the character. It affects how people you meet react to you. Even I will go through it, not understanding how I got here, and the game will explain it’s because I met this person, or did this at this point in the game.”
