Funeral arrangements for the late Rob Ford have been announced.
The Councillor is to lie in repose at City Hall on Monday and Tuesday of next week, where members of the public will be able to pay their respects to both Rob Ford and his family.
City hall will be open to the public from 10.00.a.m. until 6.00.p.m on Monday, March 28th and again from 7.30.a.m to 9.30.p.m on Tuesday, March 29th.
The former Mayor’s funeral is set to take place on Wednesday, March 30th, with a procession due to start at City Hall at 10.30.a.m, ending at St James Cathedral at 65 Church Street, where the funeral service will be held.
Councillor Rob Ford will then be laid to rest at a private ceremony.
A celebration of Ford’s life is planned to take place on Wednesday evening following the funeral ceremony, with the Ford family extending an invitation to the public to join them at the Toronto Congress Centre at 650 Dixon Rd from 6.30.p.m to 9.00.p.m.
As part of the celebration of Rob Ford’s life, his family are also asking members of the public to send short (under 10 seconds) video clips talking about their experiences with Councillor Ford, along with pictures, which will be compiled into montages to be played at the event.

The family also asks that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made in his honour to the Ford-Panov research panel at Mount Sinai Hospital.
