In B.C. they’re taking it more seriously. Soon, any kind of distraction may get you a fine – that includes changing the radio station or your GPS. Where do we draw the line on what’s a distraction?
Distracted driving has now surpassed drunk driving as the leading cause of car-related fatalities in B.C. And it seems like many underestimate the danger of it. One woman has collected 14 distracted driving fines over 5 years, therefore the province is looking to create laws to ban drivers like her.
