One person has been airlifted to hospital after what has been described as a serious collision in Brampton.
It happened at around 1.30.p.m. on Queen Street, just east of Goreway Road, with police arriving on scene to find three vehicles involved in the collision.
Reports suggest one of the vehicles rolled over onto a pedestrian.
A man in his 40’s was airlifted to St. Michael’s Hospital in downtown Toronto with life-threatening injuries, while two others were taken to a local trauma centre for treatment for serious injures.
Queen Street is closed in both directions to facilitate a police investigation and is expected to remain closed for several hours.
