Frank Sinatra Jr. has died at the age of 72.
The news was confirmed on Wednesday evening by the Sinatra family, who said that the musician had suffered a heart attack while on tour in Daytona Beach, Florida.
A statement issued by the family say they mourn the untimely passing of their son, brother, father and uncle.
Sinatra had followed in his famous fathers footsteps and forged his own successful music career.
He was also famously kidnapped and held for ransom when he was 19.
His father Frank Sr. also died from a heart attack in 1998.
