The 60-year-old woman, who is facing a total of four charges, including manslaughter, for allegedly stabbing a 67-year-old man in Rosedale last week, is slated to be back in court at the end of the month.
Ellis Kirkland was taken into police custody after she was found to be having a dilemma on a balcony at the Town Inn Suites near Church and Charles streets several hours after the stabbing took place at a condo near Park Road and Rosedale Valley Boulevard around 7:30 a.m. Thursday, March 10th.
She made a court appearance early Monday morning and will be back in court on Tuesday, March 22nd.
Her lawyer says that she will need a psychic evaluation.
