Toronto police are set to launch another March Break pedestrian safety campaign on Monday.
TPS reminding both drivers and pedestrians to be a bit more aware.
Last year, 39 pedestrians lost their lives, representing approximately 60% of all traffic fatalities in Toronto.
Collision analysis have shown that, on average, 50% to 60% of all fatalities involve pedestrians.
75% of all the fatalities reported this year have involved senior-age pedestrians.
The campaign runs from March 14th through to Sunday the 20th.
Toronto police have tips for both pedestrians and transit users, which can be seen at the Toronto Police Services website.
